Ingredients
  

For the Cake:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 2 large apples cored and diced
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apple butter

For the Streusel Topping:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter softened

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Set aside.
  • Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, beat together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add in the apple butter and mix until well combined.
  • Combine Dry & Wet Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Gently fold in the diced apples.
  • Make Streusel Topping: In a small bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter. Use a fork or your fingers to mix until crumbly.
  • Assemble the Cake: Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the cake batter.
  • Bake the Cake: Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool & Serve: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
