Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup of pitted and chopped dates
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar or honey
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup melted butter or oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
  • Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in the chopped dates.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add the eggs and melted butter to the banana mixture. Mix until well combined.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid over-mixing.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
