- 1 cup dates pitted and chopped
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar or honey
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans recommended
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease or line a 9×5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Add the sugar (or honey), eggs, vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
