Ingredients
- 1 box Pillsbury Strawberry Cake Mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- Fresh strawberries for garnish, optional
- Whipped cream or frosting optional
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your cake pans to prevent the cake from sticking.
Mix the Ingredients
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Pillsbury Strawberry Cake Mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Use an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to medium speed and beat for 2 minutes.
Pour the Batter
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans. Use a spatula to smooth the top if needed.
Bake the Cake
- Place the pans in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. To check if the cake is done, insert a toothpick into the centre. If it comes out clean, your cake is ready.
Cool the Cake
- Remove the pans from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Then, remove the cakes from the pans and let them cool completely on the wire rack.
Decorate and Serve
- Once the cake is completely cooled, you can frost it with whipped cream or your favourite frosting. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired. Slice and serve.
