  • 1 small box 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Start by heating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your cake pan by greasing and flouring it or lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, vegetable oil, sour cream, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
  • Slowly add the vanilla cake mix and instant vanilla pudding mix to the wet ingredients. Use a mixer on low to medium speed, blending just until everything is combined and smooth—be careful not to over mix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean.
