- 2 sticks 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup buttermilk at room temperature
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 4 large eggs at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
For the Vanilla Glaze:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons whole milk
- 1 cup powdered sugar sifted
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your loaf pan thoroughly with butter and lightly dust it with flour to prevent sticking.
